About Upper Valley IT

Upper Valley IT solves technical and IT problems. We undertake technology and web projects for small businesses and households in the Upper Valley area. We've been operating as Diehn Consulting, LLC since late 2005 and have helped upwards of forty clients since then. We look forward to being your IT partner as much as "your computer people." You'll find that pretty much anything you want to do with computers, we can help you do. And we can help you find new ways to do things that you never dreamed could be done so easily. We are here to make your life easier!

How big do you have to be to get our attention?

If you think your business is too small for you to get professional help with your computers, please don't think that. We at Upper Valley IT are in business to help you - even and especially if your company is just you and you alone!

House calls? You bet! Got a sick computer at home too? Well, to do our job, we need to know what makes your world tick and coming to your home lets us get to know you better, so we look forward to housecalls.

We like small business

Upper Valley IT was founded specifically to work with small businesses and individuals - look us up in the NH Business registry and see our mission. We like the people in this market. We like the diversity and the close contact with people involved in many different businesses and lifestyles and we like getting to know their varied personalities. You can get us on the phone or stop us in the aisles of the Co-op - we are your neighbors and fellow humans.

Who are we?

Upper Valley IT is Mike and Andi Diehn and a small, select group of other professional system and network administrators, writers, graphic designers, artists and business people. We live, work and play here in the Upper Valley: we're your neighbors. We understand the pace of work here, the seasons, the ebbs and flows of life in the Upper Valley. We see you around town, at the Co-op, at TMO fund-raisers, at the gym, the Lions club, walking across campus, in the local Linux Users Group meetings and at the UVCIA. We like that and it's the reason we chose to run our business the way we do.

Paying us is simple - we charge a flat rate per hour, pro-rated to the minute. We'll send your invoice via e-mail as a PDF or via the US Postal service - we'll be happy to bill you on pretty much any schedule you like: monthly, by the project, every time your tab goes over a certain ammount. We charge half the travel time - you pay us to come to you, and we pay us to go home.

We use our invoice system as our work log so you'll never wonder what you're paying for - you'll see it laid out in front of you in black and white and if you ever have a question or concern about your bill - tell us! We'd much rather make less money on a job and have you and us feel right about the outcome than we will ever want to stick it to you.

Thanks for stopping by. If you have any questions or issues you'd like to discuss please contact us right away! Hope to hear from you soon. We'll see you around the Valley.
